The Buzzard Nest – The UK’s first triple-level tree tent, a jaw-dropping structure 20ft high, suspended between six ancient oak trees. With three separate levels, it’s perfect for thrill-seekers, groups, or families who want to take their stay to new heights — quite literally.
The Sparrow Hawk – A mid-height, double-level tent set 12ft in the air, featuring a dreamy sleeping pod above and a relaxed reading/chill-out area below. Ideal for couples or solo adventurers seeking a peaceful treetop retreat with a sense of elevation and escapism.
The Swallow – Our most accessible tree tent, perfect for families with young children or those who prefer a lower tree experience. Suspended just above the forest floor, it offers the magic of tree-top living without the climb. Safe, cozy, and surrounded by birdsong.

Three adults can fit inside the Tree Tent, which is cozy. Two adults and a child is more comfortable. However, there is plenty of space in the stacks for storage and they all have
The tallest Buzzard Tree Tent Experience is 20ft off the ground with 3 layers. Next is the Sparrow hawk, which is 14ft high and has two layers to scale. The lowest Tree Tent is our Swallow tree tent experience, which allows you to take young children in it and is the easiest accessible tree tent. This is just 6ft off the ground.
There is a central hatch that you can access to which is triangular in shape and mimics the outside shape. This central hatch is slept around so no one sleeps next to another. While a head maybe next to each other the feet are at the other end of the triangle and therefore, don’t bring any double mats, bedding etc as this doesn’t work. Three people max can fit around the triangular hatch and the straps holding the tent up act as a support whilst you get cradled in the middle like a hammock, which is rather cosy and comfortable.
The ideal bedding from our experience has been using “The blanket sandwich” a warm blanket to sleep on due to the tree tents being off ground and the wind coming up from underneath. There is a thermal blanket on the underside of the tent, which prevents the majority of wind hitting you but we find it more comfortable like this. Next bring a single duvet or single sleeping bag to sleep in. Then finally we recommend an additional blanket on top to maximise warmth and comfort. This is per person.
The main differences between the tents are the heights and the levels you can climb. Essentially the Buzzard is the biggest with three levels and 20ft high. Next is the Sparrowhawk at 14ft and two levels and lastly the Swallow, which is single level and 6ft off the floor. The unique part about the Swallow is as its only tent you can take the top off of and have a unique night under the tree canopy and stary sky. You can also open the doors and sit on the outside ledge and watch the world go by in our ancient woodland. The Buzzard also has an open first level, which is just a hammock and a lovely spot to chill and play games out in the woodland canopy. The second level offers a higher view and also a mosquito netting, allowing you to read and relax without any insects bugging you…..literally! The final level is the sleeping compartment, which is fully netted so you cant fall out and is dark due to the heavy tarps to prevent water splashing in when it rains. The Sparrow hawk copies the Buzzard with the mosquito net tier and the sleeping compartment teir, but doesn’t have the fully open hang out hammock at the bottom.
The Buzzard and the Sparrow hawk are not suitable for under 5 year olds due to their height. They are also not suitable for people scared of heights, people whom have difficulty with their mobility or climbing a ladder or people who are susceptible to sleep walking. We also have a max weight of 100kg per person. This is spread over three people so combined weight of 300kg.
You get into the tree tents via the central hatch that you unzip and climb through. Some have a simple log to stand on to get through them others have ladders.
