The Dormouse Pitch is a charming, tucked-away camping spot designed for those who love a quieter, more intimate woodland stay. Perfectly sized for a small tent (up to two people), this cosy pitch offers approximately 14m² of space and is nestled into a peaceful corner of the woodland, giving you beautiful open views across the campsite while still feeling private and immersed in nature.

Wake to birdsong, enjoy golden evening light filtering through the trees, and unwind in a calm, natural setting that feels delightfully removed from the bustle of everyday life. It’s an ideal choice for couples or solo adventurers looking for a simple, scenic place to pitch up and relax.

Please note, the Dormouse Pitch is tent-only and is not suitable for campervans, trailer tents or caravans.

Campfires are welcome at Tree Tops and Train Tracks but only in the designated areas.
We have 18 acres of woodland to explore but please stick to the clear boundary lines.
Earliest check in is 3.30pm unless you have upgraded to early check in which is 2pm
Latest check out is 10.30am unless you have upgraded to late check out at 12pm
Quiet hours are from 10pm till 8am as its a family friendly site
Guests should keep their pitch clean and tidy at all times
The site and reception will be open from 8am to 9pm and closed over night
All access to the campsite should remain free at all times.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on site bar the designated area in the car park
We allow BBq's and fires in the communal area, however we do allow these on the pitches.
