Camping beneath towering trees, surrounded by wildflowers and ferns, offers pure peace. Nature’s beauty embraces you, turning each moment into magic.
We have six pitches in total, two large (6 man tents), Three medium (up to 4 man tents) and one small (2 – 3 man max)
The quick answer is no, we only allow one tent per pitch. However, in certain circumstances we do allow this upon request.
See above under “Introducing Tree Tops and Train Tracks Camping Ground”. Each unit is shown with sizes attached. We have to be careful though as some are square and others are long but not wide so in doubt reach out to us to ask if your worried your tent might not fit!
Yes, you can bring one car per tree tent or pitch. If you need more please email us an ask in advance as we don’t have enough space but we can store your car somewhere else. We have a car park next to the campsite, but we have no cars on the campsite itself.
We sell anything that campers usually forget! We have marshmallow, sweets, cans of pop, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, skewers, matches, blankets and most importantly logs for the fire. These come with kindling and firelighters as a package. We also have a borrow box for the usual missing suspects, mallets, cooking oil and lights, which you can borrow and replace once your finished with them.
We’re proud to be one of only a handful of campsites in the UK offering a unique communal woodland area alongside your own pitch. At the heart of the forest lies a vast 900m² space with five free-to-use firepits, each equipped with grills for barbecues or simple campfires.
This shared space also features a striking 8m x 6m timber frame shelter, perfect for escaping the rain or the summer sun. Beneath it, you’ll find a lovely kitchen area to prepare your food and hire the pizza oven should you want to use, benches and other seating, a log burner that can be used (1st come 1st serve) and even a box of games and toys to keep younger campers entertained. Fresh drinking water is also available here.
As evening falls, the atmosphere comes alive—fires glowing, barbecues sizzling, children playing freely—while the woodland and wildflowers frame the perfect sunset backdrop.
The tree tents and pitches have no minimum night stay during the majority of the year, however through the summer holidays only, we do a minimum night stay of two nights. The Toad hideout Cabin on the other hand is a minimum of two nights throughout the year.
We have three compost toilets and three hot showers available. We also have an under cover area to chill and relax on custom made seating and benches with a pizza oven kitchen to hire and a log burner to use. Furthermore we have a washing up area, and communal fire pits with grills to BBQ (each fire pit converts in to a BBQ). We also have opened up the woodland so you can explore 18 acres here at Tree Tops and Train Tracks.
Unfortunately No to both of these. We are an off grid nature loving camp and glamp site and there is no power yet in the woodland, however we are playing around with solar and new ideas will be coming soon! As for pets, we love pets and we have two dogs of our own, however we want to maintain the biodiversity of the woodland and preserve the current animal life that goes on.
Check in is at 3pm earliest and check out no later than 10.30am. This is so we can prepare the place for our next guests
